Project Overview

Tell a short story with storyboards.

For this project I was given a company "Card Maker Pro" who specializes in card creation. Their company is made up of writers and designers who make cards for other people who pay to have a card made.

Employees have complained about recent updates to their system and I have been asked to assess and redesign their digital workspace.

I first drew out a simple sketch of a story I wanted to tell. A boy gets a present on Christmas and plays with the toy in the street until it breaks. :(

Character Development

The character needed to be cute and I liked the idea of having a t-shirt that was far too large. The backwards hat gave him a bit of personality and the big eyes gave him some emotion.
